About the role:

Finance Specialist supports our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll. Finance Specialist’s responsibilities include processing payments, maintaining cost reports and managing invoices. This role helps maintain the company’s financial health and makes sure we use resources beneficially.

The Finance Specialist reports to the Head of Finance.

At Hunch you will:

  • Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions
  • Track and reconcile bank statements
  • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Issue invoices and follows up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed
  • Communicate with clients reg. delinquent payments and payment issues
  • Prepare reports on monthly staff expenses
  • Keep organized financial records
  • Provide support during budget preparation
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits
  • Participate procurement of equipment and similar
  • Participate in VAT calculation
  • Do MRR analytics and projection on a monthly basis
  • Do Business trips reports and calculation
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports
  • Do eBanking transactions

We would be a perfect match if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • At least 2 years of work experience as a Finance Specialist or similar role
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using advanced financial functions)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliability and good judgment
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Ability to follow company policies
  • Ability to work independently and on a team

It would be nice if you have:

  • Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
  • Experience with any accounting software/ERP
